Refund Policy
At Smile Republic, we strive to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchases. However, we are unable to accept exchanges or returns unless there is a manufacturing defect or we have sent the wrong item(s) to you.
Return Eligibility
If your order qualifies for a return, you have 7 days upon receipt of your items to request a return. Once you receive a Returns Authorization Number, you will have 14 days to ship the item(s) back to us.
Non-Refundable Charges
Please note that we are unable to refund any taxes, duties, or return shipping fees. Refunds will be processed at the price you originally paid for the item(s), not based on any fluctuations in currency value at the time of the refund.
Conditions for Return
To ensure that your return is eligible, the following conditions must be met:
- Items must be unworn and in resalable condition, with original tags and packaging still intact.
- Shoes must be returned in their original shoe box. Returns without the original box, or with a damaged or marked box, may not be accepted and will be sent back to you.
- For shoes and bags, please ensure that you use outer packaging to protect the original box when returning the item. Damage to the original packaging could result in a return being refused.
How to Initiate a Return
To begin a return request, please contact us at info@smilerepublic.us. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and clear images of the item(s) you want to return. Once we assess your request, we will provide instructions on how to proceed. In some cases, we may ask for additional images.
Upon approval, we will issue a Returns Authorization Number and provide you with the return address.
Return Shipping
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Import Duties and Taxes
Any import duties related to your return will be deducted from your refund. Customs duties and taxes paid on the original shipment are non-refundable by us. However, you may be able to apply for a refund from your local customs authority for any returned items.
Refund Process
Once your returned item is received at our warehouse, we will inspect it to determine if it is in a saleable condition. If accepted, we will process your refund. You will be notified via email once the refund has been issued. Funds will be returned to your original payment method within 7 days.
If the item is deemed non-saleable (e.g., worn, security tags removed, packaging damaged), it will be returned to you and no refund will be issued. In the case of exercising your right of withdrawal, a deduction may apply. You will be informed of our decision via email, and you will be responsible for the shipping costs of returning the item.
Right to Refuse Returns
Smile Republic reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange based on the condition of the merchandise.
